Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Tea kettle or pot for boiling water
  • Strainer or fine mesh sieve
  • Pitcher or big mason jar
  • Cute glasses optional, but vibes

Ingredients

  • 3–4 ripe peaches  bruises are fine, we love a flawed queen
  • 6 cups water3 black tea bags  or 4 if you want more punch
  • ½ cup sugar  you can dial it down or up — you know your vibe
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract  just trust me
  • 1 A splash of lemon juice  adds that ooh at the end
  • Ice, obviously

Instructions

  • Peach Party in a Pot
I sliced up those peaches (no need to peel ‘em, unless you’re feeling fancy) and threw them in a saucepan with the sugar and 2 cups of water.Let that simmer for like 10–15 minutes until the peaches were soft and the whole kitchen smelled like a hug.
  • Tea Time
While the peach syrup was doing its thing, I boiled 4 more cups of water and steeped my tea bags in it.Let those babies sit for 5–10 minutes depending on how strong you like it. I usually forget about them and come back 20 minutes later, but it still slaps.
  • Bring It All Together
Strained the peach syrup (you can save the soft peach chunks if you want to eat them later with a spoon — no judgment), then stirred it right into the tea.Added a splash of vanilla and lemon juice just because it felt right.
  • Chill Out
Let it cool down, then poured it over a glass packed with ice. Took it outside, sat on my little balcony with my legs up, and sipped like I had no worries.

Notes

  • No fresh peaches? Frozen or canned (rinsed) totally work.
  • Adjust the sweetness to match your mood.
  • Add mint, fizz, or booze to dress it up for guests (or just for you).
  • It keeps in the fridge 3–4 days, but let’s be real — it probably won’t last that long.
  • It’s the kind of drink that makes you forget your inbox exists.
